Covenant House - Real Estate Cycle 2019

The Covenant House Real Estate Cycle is back. Join your industry peers on Thursday afternoon, September 12th and take on the challenge of riding from the base to the summit of Mt Seymour to raise funds for Covenant House.

This is social ride and not a race (although kudos will be given to the first person to reach the top!).

To sign-up for the event, we are asking for a minimum donation of $50 to be made directly to Covenant House via this event page. Please consider sharing with your friends and contacts.

Event Details:

Pre ride: We have reserved the North Wing Meeting Room at Parkgate Community Centre from 1pm on Thursday, 12th. Someone from Taylor Ryan will present in this room for the duration and so feel free to leave a bag with us. (ample parking should be available at the community centre for those driving)

Mechanic: From 1pm, a mechanic from Steed Cycles will be onsite to deal with any last-minute mechanical adjustments/bike checks.

Waivers: As this event is sanctioned by Cycling BC, all riders must complete a waiver (unless you are a current Cycling BC member). Waiver forms will be available onsite.

Briefing: Mark Savard, Development Officer from Covenant House will be saying a few words prior to the ride at 1:45 so please try your best to be there for this.

The ride: At 2pm we will begin our climb up Mt Seymour. We can transport your warm clothes (jackets, extra gloves etc.) to the top for you so that the descent is comfortable. Fingers crossed for sunshine but come prepared with extra gear just in case.

Post ride: We have the meeting room booked until 5pm and we will be providing coffee, snacks etc. so please do plan on hanging around after your ride for a bite.
