BIOS

RYAN WONG - Burgess Cawley Sullivan and Associates 
Ryan Wong joined the firm in 1998 after graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Commerce (Urban Land Economics) degree. He has undertaken a wide array of assignments relating to commercial and residential properties, including office buildings, shopping centres/retail complexes, development sites, and multi-family residential. More recently, he has expanded his scope of services and has been retained as an expert witness in various rental arbitrations involving retail, restaurant and office space.

AJ DELISLE - Royal Bank of Canada
A.J. Delisle is a Senior Commercial Account Manager specializing in real estate. He manages a portfolio of approximately 25 real estate clients throughout B.C. Since joining the RBC real estate team in 2013, A.J. has lent out more than $1-billion for new projects across Canada, including many high-profile projects in the Lower Mainland. A.J. holds an MBA from UBC and a BComm from UNBC. He is also a CPA, CMA and CFP. Follow @RBCAJDelisle.

JASMEAN TOOR - Edgar Development
Jasmean Toor is the Vice President of Real Estate Finance at Edgar Development (www.edgardevelopment.com). She focuses on project financing, development management, and assists with acquisitions and partnerships. Prior to joining Edgar Development in 2011, Jasmean worked with a national commercial mortgage brokerage firm underwriting and funding construction and term mortgages for retail, office, industrial, multi-family and mixed use properties.Jasmean is an active member of the commercial real estate and development community, currently sitting on the Board of Directors for CREW Vancouver.

HUGH CARTER - Pollyco Group of Companies
In May 2015, Hugh joined the Pollyco Group of Companies as General Manager. Pollyco is a privately owned real estate developer operating in Greater Vancouver, other communities in British Columbia and Calgary, Alberta. Pollyco is also the partner in the Willoughby Town Centre in Langley. In land development, the company is currently developing over 3,000 acres of land in British Columbia and Alberta. The senior management team is responsible for the development and management of more than $500 million in real estate assets: single family residential subdivisions, townhomes, condominiums, shopping centres, hotels, and industrial/office parks. In addition, Pollyco is operating a single family housing division in Calgary, Alberta.​

MICHAEL VON HAUSEN - MVH Urban Planning and Design
Adjunct Professor, Simon Fraser University, Michael heads an international consulting firm that specializes in land development strategies, community partnerships, urban design, and training mid-career professionals. Michael's firm has won 10 awards for planning, design and development of communities across western Canada over the past five years. He brings over 30 years of experience in land development planning, finance, and urban design, teaching and working across North America.
