Event Description:

GETTING TO GROUNDBREAKING LAUNCH

Getting To Groundbreaking (G2G), a first of its kind annual report on the residential approval process in metro Vancouver focuses on the processes, experiences, and policies of residential building approvals.

Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association, in partnership with the Urban Development Institute, worked with SFU Urban Studies to conduct surveys of municipalities and residential builders, follow up interviews and independent research to examine how townhouse projects are reviewed and approved in the Lower Mainland.

Industry, government and media will be in attendance at the launch to hear first-hand G2G's key findings and Best Practices. Recognizing the value of collaboration between industry and municipalities, this is an opportunity for Mayors and Councilors, new and returning, GVHBA members and industry at large to take a fresh look at housing in their community.
