QUEST invites you to “Community Energy Systems: Fostering a Dialogue between Developers and Local Governments” - a special half-day roundtable workshop taking place as part of the Community Energy Symposium 2014 and in coordination with the Urban Development Institute, Metro Vancouver, and CALP.

This special roundtable dialogue is an opportunity for developers, local governments and other community stakeholders to explore opportunities and barriers around community energy systems. How do community energy systems work? What are the ownership and operation models? How can developers and local governments mutually address barriers such as financing, legacy for building users, meeting building energy performance targets, and costs? And how can business relationships, between developers, local governments, and others, be improved to advance smart energy communities in British Columbia.
