Rick IIich, CEO, Townline
Rick established Townline in 1980 and under his direction, the company has grown from a single family home builder to a diverse and respected leader in the residential, commercial and mixed-use development/construction industry.
Recognizing the inequities in the socioeconomic reality that affect the ability of so many people to secure safe and affordable housing, together with his wife Lauren and VP Craig Lochhead, he formed TL Housing Solutions (TLHS). TLHS is a “fee for service” design/build contracting group that built on Townline’s development and construction expertise, offering a turn-key approach to Non-Market Housing Operators, BC Housing and CMHC. To date, more than 2500 units have been constructed or are in progress, including safe, secure housing for women fleeing domestic violence, affordable housing with support services for seniors, state of the art housing and support services for those with special needs, co-operative housing, as well as Indigenous and work force housing.
