So, what's changed since we last welcomed Andrew to the stage?
Well, over the last year, Canada recorded its fastest population growth in the past 75 years. We've also experienced the highest level of inflation since the early 80's, and we're now living with interest rates not experienced in decades.
In spite of these rising lending rates, we have also seen local housing prices continue to move upwards -- increases that have only been surpassed by double digit rises in rents, and vacancy rates that have now hit historic lows. Perhaps a better question is: what hasn't changed?
Join us for Andrew's 7th annual talk, where he will cover what these things mean for the region, how they may shift in the coming years, and posit some interesting solutions to address them.
