Builder Forum Series: Part 9 Upper Steps + Step Code Consultation

Register now for the Township of Langley's upcoming Builder Forum Series focused on best practices for designing high performance Part 9 buildings. There will also be a presentation on the upcoming proposed BC Energy Step Code updates to the Township’s Building Bylaw 4642.

Dallas Hordichuk of Bernhardt Contracting will cover:
  • Differences between Upper and Lower Steps
  • Net Zero and Net Zero Energy Ready strategies with respect to different building components (such as mechanical, envelope, aesthetics, etc.)
There will also be a brief presentation on the upcoming proposed BC Energy Step Code updates to the Township's Building Bylaw 4642. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and questions will be taken for 5 business days through greenbuildings@tol.ca following the event.
