U40 Leadership Breakfast with Daniel Boffo

Our November Leadership Breakfast is hosted by Daniel Boffo, Principal of Boffo Properties. He is also a member of the UDI Board of Directors.

Daniel grew up in the local real estate development and construction world. From the age of three, he liked helping (or hindering) his father with anything and everything on job sites. Prior to becoming a Principal at Boffo Properties, Daniel graduated from both the University of British Columbia and the British Columbia Institute of Technology with an Economics degree and an Architectural and Building Engineering technology diploma, respectively.
 
Before rejoining the family firm, Daniel worked with one of the Lower Mainland’s largest construction firms and there he learned a great deal about the systems and discipline it takes to create big projects. In addition to building single family homes and townhomes, the most recent projects spearheaded by Daniel Boffo and the Boffo Properties team include an innovative partnership with non-profit Community Builders Group for a pioneering project in the Downtown Eastside as well as another innovative upcoming project in partnership with The Kettle Friendship Society just off Commercial Drive in East Vancouver.
 
Daniel also oversees all construction projects from the Construction Management arm of Boffo Building Inc. that manages the design-build of all retail Take Five Café locations and all Boffo Properties residential and commercial/industrial projects.
 
Besides everything real estate, Daniel is moved by inspiring architecture, timeless design, smart urban planning, and his young growing family; literally – it’s tough keeping up with a two-year old!

The UDI U40 Leadership Breakfast Series gives young professionals under the age of 40 a chance to begin the day with breakfast and a lively conversation with a successful industry leader in a small group setting with a maximum of 12 guests. Due to the popularity of these breakfasts, guest will be determined by lottery.
