Our next "Lunch + Learn" session will be taught by Katie Dunsworth-Reiach, Co-Founder & PR Specialist of Talk Shop, an award-winning public relations firm.
Katie will guide Lunch + Learn participants through a crash course in media training. The power of the media is undeniable. Media coverage, in a traditional form, provides credible third-party assessment and an invaluable account of your business.
As one of Talk Shop’s Co-founders Katie brings a unique blend of experience gained working in the media and with some of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. In addition to her career in PR which began at 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Katie also co-founded the money-mentoring business Smart Cookies and later appeared on Oprah. In anticipation of the 2008 economic crisis she was among the first to focus on making financial information engaging and relevant to a female audience. By 2009, Katie was co-hosting her own W Network series and had co-authored the financial series Smart Cookies Guide to Making More Dough.
As a Principal at Talk Shop, Katie works with some of Canada’s leading real estate developers and real estate leaders such as MOSAIC, and Sotheby’s Internationl Realty Canada. Having been a former journalist, Katie has a wealth of media relations, television production and brand experience. She is also among the youngest women to rank on Business in Vancouver’s Forty under 40 and volunteers with Canuck’s Autism Network and TEDxVancouver.
