Biography

Rosanne E. Walters, CPA, CA, CFF, CFE, CBV

Rosanne is a Partner of BDO Canada LLP in Financial Advisory Services and leads BDO’s Western Region Fraud and Forensic Services. Her practice includes fraud investigations, litigation support, business valuation, economic loss calculations and investigative due diligence. 

Rosanne has specialized experience in employee fraud investigations, shareholder disputes, personal injury loss claims, valuation of securities and business valuation, search and seizure procedures, asset tracing, cyber fraud investigations, financial specialist for separation and divorce and family mediation. She is qualified as an expert witness and has given testimony in the Supreme and Provincial Courts of British Columbia, and acted as a court-appointed special referee. Rosanne is the past President of the Vancouver Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners and has provided numerous presentations on the subject of employee fraud. 

Greg Kent, BSc., Treasury Solutions Specialist, RBC Treasury Solutions

Greg Kent holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Victoria.  He has 23 years of banking experience with RBC with the past 20 years specializing in Treasury Solutions & Cash Management. His experience with RBC includes working with multi-national corporations, public sector, not for profit and corporate business clients. On an ongoing basis, he provides advice and solutions as it relates to treasury management. His responsibilities include:

• Advice pertaining to Electronic Banking & Security
• Leveraging best practices to provide innovative solutions to mitigate cheque & payment fraud
• Provide guidance and advice to help clients improve efficiencies and control over information and the movement of payments
