Join author and consultant David Allison, a veteran of the Vancouver Real Estate Development community, as he shares insights from his latest book about Baby Boomers, a demographic that will shape our industry for decades to come.

The industry is building homes for the wealthiest Boomers now, and they are selling. But what about the Boomers -- who make up more than half of the total demographic -- who can't afford luxury towers? Middle Class Boomers need love too! There is a major market opportunity to make millions of middle-class Boomers happy as they downsize to denser urban environments.

What you'll learn:

•    What are Boomers biggest fears about this move to Multi-Family Living?
•    What do they like about it? What do they wish they could find?
•    What motivates them most? What worries them most?
•    What are the most important rooms in their home?
•    What answers are they looking for in a community?

Leave with big ideas to take back to the office from:

•    1000 Boomers who completed an extensive survey
•    Industry Experts like Larry Beasley, Diana McMeekin, Gordon Harris, Carla Guerrera, George Wong, Mike Bucci, and more
•    Big thinkers like: Charles Montgomery, Douglas Coupland, Alan Ehrenhalt
•    Plus: new big ideas from Vancouver's brightest: Perkins + Will Architects

Copies of The Stackable Boomer ($14.99 + tax) will be available for sale at the event, with proceeds benefiting BC Artscape, a not-for-profit real estate group devoted to preserving and creating space in our cities for arts, culture and creative industries to thrive.
