Join Scotiabank Chief Economist and Senior Vice President, Jean-François Perrault, as he analyzes real estate issues from a local and global economic perspective. Jean-François will dive into the following key topics: 

  • What are the challenges and opportunities that exist for the residential, office, commercial and industrial real estate sectors?
  • What will the American election results mean for Canada's real estate industry?

Cynthia Jagger of Goodman Commercial Inc. will close the event with a Q+A session with Jean-François. Participants will have an opportunity to pose their questions during the Q+A period.

​Jean-François Perrault - Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist, Scotiabank 
Jean-François Perrault joined Scotiabank in 2015 as Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist. He leads a team of Economists to support Scotiabank's domestic and international business lines and clients from retail to capital markets, providing Scotiabank's senior executives, business lines and customers with perspectives, insights and forecasts on economic, financial market and policy developments.  
 

Prior to joining Scotiabank, Jean-François held prominent roles with the federal government, the Bank of Canada, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

Cynthia Jagger - Principal, Goodman Commercial Inc. (moderator) 
Cynthia Jagger is a commercial real estate broker and Principal at Goodman Commercial.  A former Director at Altus Group, Jagger has consulted on tens of billions of dollars worth of commercial real estate in B.C. and provided guidance on some of the biggest and most complex land deals and rental developments in Vancouver's history over the last 15 years.
 
Since joining the Goodman Report in 2016, Jagger, together with Mark and David Goodman, have sold over $1 billion in property on behalf of their clients.
