UDI is pleased to welcome Jason Lo, LL.B. Vice President, Go-To-Market Execution, and Matthew Boukall, Vice President, Product Management from the Data Solutions division of Altus Group to share excerpts from their data, with insights and a directional forecast for the Vancouver region as we head into the busy spring market.
This presentation will provide a back-drop comparison between the Vancouver and other majors markets in Canada and address key questions:
- What is the supply of housing, from a tenure, unit mix, and built form, currently in the development application approval process in selected municipalities in the Vancouver Region.
- How have development approval decisions impacted housing supplies?
- What are key risks in the Vancouver market to watch?
- How has mortgage qualification rule changes and other government measures impacted the housing markets in Canada, with comparisons between Vancouver and other major markets in the country.

BIOS
JASON LO
Jason is responsible for Go-to-Market Execution for Altus Group’s Data Solutions (Sales & Marketing, Client Services and Partnerships). He joined RealNet Canada (acquired by Altus Group in 2014) in 2011, and assumed responsibility for the entire business prior to his current role.
Jason began his career over 25 years ago in Real Estate by earning his Real Estate license, law degree and starting a law firm, and co-founding a real estate software company that was acquired by Filogix Inc. (now D+H Corporation) in 2000. As a Leadership Team member at Filogix, Jason oversaw all Real Estate Technology and Corporate Development, helping to grow the company to be the largest online network in the residential real estate and mortgage market in Canada.
Jason is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and RECO, and was a previous Director and Chair-Elect for the Ontario REALTORS® Care Foundation.
