DIANE DELVES
 
Diane Delves is the owner, President and CEO of Quantum Properties, an Abbotsford based developer of multifamily and commercial buildings. 

Quantum Properties was founded in 2000 by Diane and a partner and Diane assumed full control in 2006. The Quantum Properties Group of Companies includes Quantum Properties Construction and Quantum Realty which enables the firm to handle all aspects of the development, construction, marketing and property management of the Quantum Group’s projects. 

Diane has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry as an appraiser, developer, arbitrator and adjudicator. She is an accredited real estate appraiser and was the founder and principal of a Fraser Valley real estate appraisal company for over 10 years. 

Diane’s real estate expertise has been utilized by the British Columbia Expropriation Compensation Board where she served as an adjudicator and real estate expert for 6 years. She also served a three year term on the Federal Government’s Payments In Lieu of Taxes Dispute Advisory Panel. 

Diane was a director of the Aldergrove Credit Union from 2006 to 2012 where she served on the Audit, Credit and Investment and Lending committees. She has served on City of Abbotsford committees including five years on the Economic Development Commission. In early 2010 Diane was appointed to the board of the Abbotsford Airport Authority becoming Vice Chair of the Authority shortly afterwards.

She is the current Chair of the Fraser Valley group of the Urban Development Institute and joined the Pacific Region’s board of directors in May 2015. 

Diane was appointed to the board of Partnerships BC in 2015. PBC is involved with large infrastructure projects such as Site C, bridges, hospitals, etc. 

Diane is also a member of the Canadian Home Builder’s Association and the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

The UDI U40 Leadership Breakfast Series gives young professionals under the age of 40 a chance to begin the day with breakfast and lively conversation with a successful industry leader in a small group setting. Due to the popularity of UDI's Leadership Breakfast events, guests will be determined by lottery.
