From discussions over coffee, to friends being outbid on a property, or the proliferation of media stories, the blame of foreign buyers persists throughout all aspects of the home ownership discussion in Vancouver. Let's explore this often emotional issue from different perspectives: academic, legal and economic.
Does foreign ownership affect affordability? Who, if anyone, is collecting the data behind the foreign ownership issue? How are other jurisdictions dealing with this issue?
