Event Description:
Developing real estate on First Nation lands presents unique challenges and opportunities. With last year's historic Tsilhqot'in decision granting a declaration of aboriginal title to more than 1700 square kilometres of land in northern BC and with over 200 First Nations in BC, now is the time for pursuing new business and development opportunities with relationships with aboriginal groups.
Join us on February 5, 2015, when our expert panel will discuss the various legal processes, offer insights on negotiations, and highlight the practical considerations and key elements of successful projects being developed on First Nation lands and the opportunities that exist for partnerships.
