The federal government made fundamental changes to the
Fisheries Act which came into effect in November 2013.
The new
Fisheries Act alters the role of Fisheries and Oceans Canada in reviewing development applications which, in turn, has resulted in changes at the provincial and local levels related to project approvals.
There has been a great deal of confusion about the process, and about how and when proponents and planners are supposed to manage issues.
UDI has assembled an expert panel to bring clarity to the changes and answer your questions. We hope you will join us!
