Event Description:
Join us as we welcome Mukhtar Latif, the City of Vancouver’s Chief Housing Officer, in his first address to UDI.
In his newly-created role, Mukhtar is responsible for identifying, appraising and delivering more affordable housing in the City – and working with the development industry is key to accomplishing his mandate.
Prior to moving to Vancouver, Mukhtar worked extensively in the UK with 25 years’ experience of delivering a range of affordable housing including rental buildings, seniors’ housing, student accommodation, shared ownership and outright sale, as well as project managing schemes from acquisition to practical completion including estate and urban regeneration projects. Mukhtar has a Master in Business Administration and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
