We are excited to announce our most popular event will return in a new virtual format! Our panel of esteemed industry leaders will give their projections for this pivotal year ahead as we navigate from 2020 into 2021. Tune in to learn about the big questions facing our industry and what we can expect in 2021.

BIOS


Avtar Bains - President, Premise Properties  
Avtar founded Premise Properties in 2012 and is responsible for its overall business including the origination and execution of long-term investment strategies and objectives. 
Prior to establishing Premise Properties, Avtar spent over thirty years with Colliers International, most recently as Executive Vice President, National Investment Team. During his tenure, Avtar represented clients with particular focus on development and investment properties. 
In addition to leading Premise Properties, Avtar currently holds three board positions with Morguard North American Residential REIT, Peterson and UBC Properties Trust. 
 
Neil ChrystalPresident and Chief Executive Officer, Polygon Homes Ltd. 
Neil manages all aspects of Polygon's home-building activities in Greater Vancouver, and currently serves on the Board of Executives of the Urban Development Institute - Pacific Region. Neil joined Polygon in 1987, after graduating from the Urban Land Economics program at the University of British Columbia.
 
 
Todd Yuen - President, Industrial, Beedie 
As President of Industrial at Beedie, Todd Yuen has been a driving force behind the growth and evolution of Beedie Industrial. Playing a pivotal leadership role in the planning, sales and leasing of all new developments, and land acquisition, together with strategic involvement in many other components of the business, Todd has helped steer Beedie Industrial into new areas of growth and success across Canada.  
Having spent over a decade in commercial real estate brokerage before transitioning to Beedie, Todd has over 25 years of experience in real estate. As a leader of Beedie, the largest industrial developer and property manager in Western Canada, Todd is often called upon to provide insight at various industry panels and discussions - as well as providing mentorship to the next generation of industry leaders. 
 
Ward S. McAllister - President & Chief Executive Officer, Ledingham McAllister (moderator)  
Ward, a fifth generation Vancouverite, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Ledingham McAllister, one of BC's most established and respected Developers. Through his 40 years of experience he has been involved in all facets of the development and construction industry. Ward establishes and manages the vision and objectives of the company, and has overall responsibility for acquisition, finance, design, approvals, construction and marketing of all Ledingham McAllister projects. 
Ward is a Past President of U.D.I Canada, Past President of U.D.I. (Pacific) for three terms and a Board member for over 20 years. He has received many awards and mentions for his contribution to the industry and the community. Ward is regarded as a chief spokesman for a wide variety of real estate matters as they pertain to the public and all levels of Government.
