Cynthia Jagger, Principal, Goodman Commercial Inc. 

Cynthia Jagger is a commercial real estate broker and Principal at Goodman Commercial.  A former Director at Altus Group, Jagger has consulted on tens of billions of dollars worth of commercial real estate in B.C. and provided guidance on some of the biggest and most complex land deals and rental developments in Vancouver's history over the last 15 years.
 
Since joining the Goodman Report in 2016, Jagger, together with Mark and David Goodman, have sold over $1 billion in property on behalf of their clients.


Brendan Piovesan, Partner - Farris LLP 
Brendan is a solicitor in the firm’s corporate & commercial and real estate groups, acting principally for private real estate developers and advising his clients on all aspects of real estate development. He has extensive experience advising clients on development specific site acquisition considerations, structuring partnerships and other investment vehicles, preparing offering memoranda and other public offering documents, securing equity and debt financing, negotiating, drafting and securing rights of way, easements, ground leases, air space subdivisions, rezoning and other municipal permits, and all other matters necessary to successfully carry out and complete a real estate development project in British Columbia.

Brendan also has extensive experience working with in-house and outside counsel for most major municipalities in British Columbia, works regularly alongside or opposite most of the major banks, credit unions and Mortgage Investment Corporations lending in the Province, and he has strong relationships with many of British Columbia’s top commercial real estate brokers and sales and marketing agencies.

Prior to joining Farris, Brendan worked for a number of years with a prominent Vancouver firm practicing real estate development law.
 
Satinder Sidhu, Partner – Clark Wilson 
Satinder views every file as an opportunity to advocate for clients while working to achieve a favourable and economical resolution of the construction or insurance matter at issue.

The construction clients that Satinder works with bring projects to life proficiently. The insurance clients that she works with manage a large volume of claims with expertise and efficiency. Satinder mirrors these qualities in her practice, ensuring that clients can execute their projects and resolve their claims in a timely and skillful manner.
 
Paul Sullivan, Managing Partner – BCS Real Estate
Paul Sullivan joined Burgess, Cawley, Sullivan and Associates (BCS) in 1992, and became a partner in 2004. On graduation from the University of British Columbia, he approached Geoff Burgess, who persuaded Paul to join the firm. He began learning the appraisal side of the business, but soon found his passion in the tax appeal aspects of BCS.

Mr. Sullivan is not only head of the property tax division here at BCS, he is the most renowned property tax specialists in British Columbia. Every year, Paul and his team save clients millions of dollars in annual property taxes. He not only negotiates on clients’ behalf; he appears as an advocate during BC Assessment appeals process.

Paul spends his leisure time with his family playing polo, biking and walking his two rescue dogs.

Anne McMullin, President and CEO - Urban Development Institute (moderator) 

Anne McMullin is the President and CEO of the Urban Development Institute (UDI) – the leading voice for the development industry in BC.  Anne joined UDI in 2012 following a career path which has incorporated extensive experience in Public Affairs and Community Engagement over a span of more than 20 years.  
 
Previous to her role at UDI, Anne was the President and General Manager of the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.  Prior to that she was Director of Communications at Port Metro Vancouver, President of the BC Salmon Farmers’ Association, a reporter for Global TV in Vancouver, and a reporter and broadcaster for Mountain FM in Squamish.  Anne is a Board Member with UBC Properties Trust, a Trustee with the Jack Webster Foundation Excellence in Journalism and is a volunteer with many other community organizations. Previously Anne was a Board Member with BC’s Knowledge Network, Vice Chair of Field Hockey Canada and President of the West Vancouver Field Hockey Club.
 
Anne studied political science at the University of British Columbia, and holds a journalism diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). In 2017 Anne received the BCIT Distinguished Alumni award.
