The Net-Zero Energy-Ready Challenge is a provincial incentive program and juried competition designed to support, promote, and celebrate the design and construction of net-zero energy-ready buildings. The program provided incentives to builders and developers of multi-family, commercial, and institutional buildings that are designed to achieve the top tier of the BC Energy Step Code or the Passive House standard. The challenge saw 51 expressions of interest submitted which included more than 170 proponents, suppliers or partners. In 2019, 11 winning projects were selected featuring rental projects, condos, offices, mixed-use buildings, and student housing across BC.

Join this interactive panel discussion to learn from three of the winning projects of this provincial program. Project teams will share best practices, lessons learned, and solutions of how to achieve the highest levels of performance at the lowest cost.
