TransLink is leading the development of
Transport 2050, a new strategy to guide the region towards its transportation future. The strategy will set out
transportation priorities for the next three decades, including new investments, policies, and services, to keep the region moving.
During a time when the pace of change is accelerating – from delivery drones to digital access to automated vehicles – what could this transportation future look like? To help answer this question, TransLink launched its largest-ever engagement to spark a conversation with the people who live, work, and play in Metro Vancouver.
Now, with Transport 2050 in Phase 2, TransLink is proposing draft goals and three transformative actions for the region. Join
Eve Hou, Manager of Policy Development at TransLink, to learn about the
draft goals, and about how
people-first streets, next generation rapid transit, and
automated vehicles could help support a better way of moving. And help the region achieve its goals, so everyone is supported in their choice of transportation.
