This year's URBC will focus on a resilience roundtable in October, picking up the URBC 2020 session that was postponed due to the provincial election, focusing on a topic that spans many ongoing initiatives: the Lower Mainland Flood Management Strategy, the Province's repeal and replace of the Emergency Program Act (EPA) and Climate Preparedness and Adaptation Strategy (CPAS), etc.: challenges and opportunities associated with development in hazardous areas in BC.

There will be partner events in September & October, including a UDI breakfast seminar focusing on acquisition strategies in hazardous areas and a partner event with the Vancouver Economic Commission in October focusing on Financial Climate Risk in BC.
