Join us for a couple of hours of casual conversation and camaraderie as the Women of UDI gather to reconnect with colleagues and meet new faces in the industry!
Take a peek in your closet before you come ... perhaps there's a previously-loved purse in there? Please support our "Purse Drive" benefiting Dress for Success Vancouver. Their mission is to empower women into the workforce by providing business attire, career services and skills development programs to assist her in the journey to economic independence. Since 1999, DFS Vancouver has served over 20,000 women in the community, instilling confidence and offering a network of support. They are privately funded and rely on the generous support of the Vancouver community.
This event will once again be catered by our friends at The Banqueting Table, a non-profit catering company serving North Vancouver and the Lower Mainland since 1998. The Banqueting Table provides employment opportunities, job skills and self-confidence to single mothers and women who wish to re-enter the workforce. This social enterprise is a launch pad, encouraging women to explore their own interests through educational scholarships.
