Event Description:
UDI Pacific and Capital Region present the Women of UDI Weekly Workout Series: a community partnership initiative for our industry to stay connected, active, and to support local businesses within our community. For more information, please see the details section below.
Join Third Space Movement and the Women of UDI on Tuesday, May 12 at 12pm for an All Levels Functional Flow class that balances strength and stretch. Functional Flow is a fusion of traditional vinyasa yoga (movement with breath) and functional movement principles that prioritizes proper engagement and activation over strict alignment.

Third Space Movement is Victoria's newest multidisciplinary movement studio. We strive to encourage people to move, play and connect through our array of offerings such as yoga, kettlebells, acro yoga, mobility, inversions, free/primal movement, strength, functional movement, and more.  You can learn more about Third Space Movement on their website here.

Meet the Trainer
In her six years of teaching, Katie has amassed a loyal following of yogis all over the world in addition to her home studios in Victoria, BC. Decades of gymnastics, acrobatic practice, and yoga have provided her with a deep understanding of the necessary balance between flexibility, strength, and the functional applications to safely gain more of both. She places heavy emphasis on proper alignment, cuing and competent sequencing in order to create balanced, challenging, and well-rounded yoga classes for her students.

Why are we doing this? We had planned a number of fitness-based networking events prior to COVID-19. In addition, the Women of UDI have a community partnership initiative which seeks to support charities, NPOs and people in need. Our local fitness studios can?t offer in-person classes during this pandemic and we want to provide an opportunity to support these small businesses.

Participation by Donation
We encourage members to donate what they can to support this local business. A recommended minimum donation of $10 is appreciated. Donations can be made through their website here.
