Prefabrication is not new to North America and many contractors use some form of offsite construction within their projects today. My Lane Home is a member of the Manufactured Housing Association of British Columbia and the Vancouver Home Builders Association. \n\n \n\n \n\nJoe Kiss\, President - Modular Solutions ? Horizon North \n\nAs President\, Modular Solutions\, Joe is focused on managing executive relationships with our key strategic client accounts within the modular construction industry. He also drives Horizon North business into new geographic locations and vertical markets\, while developing strategic relationships with governmental and regulatory decision makers. With over 20 years of senior management experience\, Joe has occupied previous roles as Vice President and General Manager of Cementec Industries Inc.\, Chief Operating Officer of Genalta Power Inc.\, and most recently\, President of Ladacor Advanced Modular Systems. Joe has his Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary. As well\, he is an APEGA Licensed Professional Engineer with extensive executive experience in modular product development\, project management\, operations\, business development\, and corporate management.\n\n \n\nKevin Read\, President and CEO - Nomodic\n\nPrior to founding Nomodic in 2012\, Kevin spent years working in product design\, quality assurance\, process automation\, corporate strategy\, and business development in the construction and energy industries.\n\n \n\nWith an education including a Bachelor?s Degree in Business & Entrepreneurship\, Kevin worked as Vice President of Operations at a Western Canada-based distributor of process control equipment prior to starting out on his own.\n\n \n\nSince launching Nomodic\, Kevin has grown to reach accolades such as being named one of Canada?s Top 40 under 40 (2018) and one of Calgary?s Top 40 Under 40 (2017). Kevin was also selected as a finalist in 2016 for EY?s Entrepreneur of the Year award\, serves currently on the Dean's Advisory Council for the Faculty of Business & Communication at Mount Royal University\, and was voted in as the Modular Building Institute's Vice Chair of the Canadian Council for 2019.\n\n \n\nMadiha Fahim\, Energy Solutions Manager - FortisBC\n\nMadiha Fahim is an Energy Solutions Manager with FortisBC and has a great passion for emerging technologies.
